Vivian L. Klene, 95, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013 at her home.
Born November 1, 1917 in Greensburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Waldo and Ida Mae (Maple) Littell.
She had worked at the Carol Cook Dress Factory for several years and then she worked at Crown Zellerbach until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Vivian was a veteran of WW II serving in the Army Service Unit Surgeon General's office
She was married to Daniel A. Klene on November 28, 1946 and he preceded her in death on December 12, 1984.
She is survived by her two daughters, Angela (Robert Michael) Downey, Indianapolis, Sue (Larry) Kitchin, Columbus; four grandchildren, Zachary Downey, Carmel, Scott (Jessi) Downey, Fishers, Todd (Brandi) Ruble, Greensburg, Dana (Greg) Phillips, Greensburg; eight great grandchildren, Alexandria Ruble, Brady Ruble, Kalen Grubb, Logan Phillips, Parker Phillips, Cooper Downey, Nora Downey, Zeke Downey.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; one brother, Ralph Littell; three sisters, Viola Fuller, Lillian Hull, Lilas Ryon.
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A public rosary service will be held on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. John Meyer officiating.
Interment with military graveside services will be held in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the Diabetes Association or to the Disabled American Veterans.
