Mary Ann Luken was reunited with her husband Bert on April 9, 2013 in heaven. She was born May 20, 1928 the daughter of Gilbert and Christine (Stier) Eder.
She was a 1946 graduate of Greensburg High School. She then went to work at Johnson Wholesale. She later worked at the Greensburg Schools as a teacher's aide with the special ed children and at the YMCA pre-school. She was an active member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church She was also active with the Special Olympics.
She met her true love, Bertrand Luken and they were married on June 10, 1950 at St. Mary's Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on September 21, 2012.
Between her years of employment she was a homemaker and raised her family being survived by four sons, Mike (Kandee) Luken, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jim (Patty) Luken, Greensburg, Bill (Carol) Luken, Indianapolis, Tom (Jan) Luken, Greensburg; one daughter, Linda (Dave) Reiger, Greensburg; one son-in-law, Mike McKee, Greensburg; two sisters, Margie Fisse and Jean (Robert) Scheidler both of Greensburg. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy McKee.
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Friday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A public rosary service will be held on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. John Meyer officiating.
Interment will be held in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Church Building Fund.
