Margaret M. Corya

Margaret M. Corya passed away on June 8, 2013 at Aspen Place Health Center, Greensburg, Indiana. She was born in Greensburg on September 30, 1920 and was the daughter of Henry and Bernadette (Runnebohm) Stockhuetter. She was married to Franklin Corya on April 25, 1943 and he preceded her in death on October 17, 2008. Margaret is survived by her three children; John (Adele) Corya, Greensburg, Mary Ann Tebbe, Houston, Texas, Paul (Susan) Corya, Greensburg and one sister Rosemary Oakley, Indianapolis. She has eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Katherine Boehle and Helen Corya. She graduated from Greensburg High School and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Rural Couples Club. Visitation will be June 13 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with a rosary service at 3:30 PM at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on June 14, 2013 at St Mary’s Catholic Church Greensburg, IN with the Reverend John Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Our Hospice of Decatur County or to the St. Mary’s Building Fund.
