Lucille Jane Meadows, 88, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. Born, May 8, 1925 in Jefferson County, she was the daughter of Orland and Lizzie (Boardman) Spicer. Lucille worked as a clerk for Batterton’s Drug Store and also worked at the Fair Store in Greensburg. She was a member of the First Church of God in Greensburg. Lucille married Perry E. Meadows on May 8, 2001 and he preceded her in death on June 15, 2007. She is survived by one son; Charles Lee (Deborah) Meadows, Greensburg, two daughters; Velma (Maurice) Miller, Batesville, Marita (John) Fasbinder, Batesville, one sister; Doris Ziegler, Florida, 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband; William King, 2nd husband; Robert Batchleor, 3rd husband; Perry E. Meadows, and one son; Clarence Meadows. Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 2 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Dover officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery in Greensburg.
