Kenneth Joseph Stagge was born to Leonard and Clara (Bogemann) Stagge on April 2, 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He attended St. Mary's Grade School and then graduated in 1954 from Greensburg high School.
He loved his family, golf, bowling, playing euchre with friends and going to the K of C's. He was a fifty year member of the Knights of Columbus and served as Grand Knight for two years. He was a charter member of the Adams Fire Department and was fire chief for several years.
Kenneth died on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.
He married Ann Marie Cord on February 7, 1959 and she survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Barbara Elaine (Garry) Schwering, Millhousen and their sons, Joshua James and Nicholas Allen; two sons, Steven Eric (Heidi) Stagge, Greensburg and their two daughters, Morgan Allyse and Brianna Jenee, John Anthony (Angela) Stagge, Fishers and their children, Dylan James, Sarah Ann and Samuel John; two step grandchildren, Bryan (Alicia) Schwering and their children Henry and Edie; Jenny (Joe) Moore and their children Ashley and Alex; one brother, Joseph (Barbara) Stagge, Greensburg; three sisters, Marilyn (Bill) Nies, Owensville, Ohio, Norma (Thomas) Zobel, Shelbyville, Diana (Richard) Hoeing, Manilla, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one son, James Michael Stagge.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
A rosary for family and friends will be prayed at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. John Meyer officiating.
Interment will be held in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Knights of Columbus Building Fund.
