William Everett Duncan, 90, Greensburg, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg.
Born, May 3, 1926 in Erlanger, Kentucky, he was the son of Robert and Lula (Depew) Duncan.
He was a Veteran of World War II serving in the Army.
He had worked for TRW in California where he worked on programs for the space program.
He was married to Helen A. Day and she preceded him in death on August 29, 2000.
He is survived by one brother, Charles E. (Marybelle) Duncan, Greensburg; six grandchildren, Robert Duncan, Andrew Duncan, Anson, Duncan, Amy Downing, Amanda Duncan, Amber Cooley; several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; two sons, Robert F. Duncan, Paul D. Duncan; four brothers, James Duncan, Albert Duncan, Arnold Duncan, Earl Duncan; two sisters, Imogene Duncan, Roberta Richards.
Visitation will be from 1-5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Graveside services with full military services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Rodney Cemetery in Decatur County with Rev. Steve Malone officiating.
