Marjorie Gail F. Wettering, 79, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013 at her residence in Greensburg.
Born March 5, 1934 in Evansville, Indiana, she was the daughter of William Thomas and Mary (Hamilton) Featherstone.
Marjorie graduated in 1952 from Sarasota High School, Sarasota, Florida. She then attended college at Indiana University where she was a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority.
She was a 2nd grade teacher from 1959-1964 at St. Thomas the
Apostle School in Elkhart, Indiana.
She has resided in Greensburg since 1974 and retired from the Randall Co. in Greensburg after 25 years as production control manager and buyer.
She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Fifty Homemakers Club.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen Michael Carlson, South Bend, William Joseph (Becky) Wettering, Greensburg; one daughter, Ann Marie Lucas, Orlando, Fl.; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William Edward Featherstone; two sisters, Mary Helene Featherstone, Helen Louise Bourquin; one grandson and two great grandsons.
Visitation will be from 4-6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Memorial Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the funeral home with Rev. Greg Pimlott officiating.
