David A. Colson, 63, Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at the IU Saxony Hospital in Fishers, Indiana.
Born, July 22, 1950 in Greensburg, Indiana, he was the son of Ray Colson and Ruth Wingate.
David graduated from Greensburg High School in 1968. He worked for 25 years in maintenance at BCA. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie #927 in Greensburg and the Eagles Aerie #1130 in Batesville.
He was married to Donna Webb on July 22, 1972 and she survives.
He is also survived by his mother, Ruth Wingate, Greensburg; his step-mother, Linda L. Colson, Greensburg; one son, Derek (Courtney) Colson, Hope; one daughter, Dana (Tony) Staker, Morristown; one brother, Gary (Nenita) Colson, Greensburg; three sisters, Barbara (Richard) Niese, Greensburg, Jina (William) Dickson, Rushville, Lisa (Daryl) Sublette, Greensburg; three grandchildren, Chlois York, Nathaniel Colson, Aiden Colson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Colson and one grandchild, Taylor Nicole Colson.
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Monday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the funeral home with Barry Morton officiating.
Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg, Indiana.
Memorials may be made to the Eagles State Project, the Eagles Grand National Charity or to the American Diabetes Association.
