Ronald Catron

Ronald Catron, 69, of Greensburg, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Ron was born in Indianapolis on August 25, 1944 to Christina (Wall) Catron. He graduated from Greensburg High School in 1963. He worked for American Lifts in Greensburg for 38 years before retiring. Ron grew up and was raised Baptist. He was a member of the American Legion, the Conservation Club, and the Masonic Lodge #36 all in Greensburg. Ron is survived by two brothers; Ray (Joanne) Catron, Versailles, Donald Catron, Greensburg, 10 nieces and nephews; Lori, Julie, Rachel Amy, Joe, Jimmy, Pam, Chris, Bryan, Brad, and Tim, and his “Little Buddy”; Adam Underhill. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, and brother; Estell Catron, Jr. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2013 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2013 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with Rev. George Mitchell officiating. Interment will be held in Hebron Cemetery in Adams, In. Memorials may be made to the Arbor Grove Nursing Home.
