Norene Duncan

Norene Duncan, 76, passed away at Arbor Grove Village Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 25, 2013. She was born in Sunman, IN on March 6, 1937 to Fitzhugh and Jeanette (Morrison) Creech. Norene formerly worked as a clerk at Murphy’s in Greensburg and as a secretary at Odd Fellow’s Nursing Home in Greensburg. She was married to William E. Duncan on May 18, 1986 and he preceded her in death on June 17, 1994. Norene is survived by one son; Byron Thackery, Texas, one daughter; Angelia Thackery, Greensburg, one brother; Lee (Ruth) Creech, Greensburg, one sister; Betty Jean Cott, Topika, KS, and one grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother; Fred Creech. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with Pastor Austin Ball officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 am until the time of the services. Burial will follow at the St. Paul United Methodist Cemetery in Sunman, IN.
