Ginny L. (Dwenger) Colson

Ginny L. (Dwenger) Colson, 64, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. Ginny was born on April 20, 1949 in Greensburg to Hilmar J. Dwenger, Jr. and Lillian B. Blanton. Ginny attended Greensburg Community High School. She was a former member of the American Legion Post 129 Ladies Auxiliary and the Eagles Auxiliary 927. Ginny was in several bowling leagues for many years. She also loved playing darts and playing cards. She is survived by 3 sons; Michael Johnston, Greensburg, Josh Colson, Indianapolis, Jeryd Colson, Greensburg, 3 brothers; Tom Dwenger, Greensburg, John (Barb) Dwenger, Greensburg, William “Wild Bill” Dwenger, Indianapolis, 1 sister; Judith (Gene) Ison, Greensburg, 4 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, son; Ernest “Turbo” Johnston, and brother; Jerome Dwenger who died in infancy. Visitation will be held at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home on Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 12:1:00 p.m. with a funeral services following at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
