Fred E. Buell

Fred E. Buell, 73, Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. Born, December 26, 1940 in Greensburg, Indiana, he was the son of Harry E. and Marion (Myers) Buell.   Fred was a truck driver.  He was the former owner of Buell's' Motel and the Buell's Taxi Service, both in Greensburg.  He was a member of the Greensburg High School Class of 1958.  He was a former stock car driver and builder. He was married to Faye Henderson on December 31, 1981 and she survives. He is also survived by one son, Jay Buell, Holton; one daughter, Susan (Mike) Driver, North Vernon; one sister, Beverly Scheele, Oldenburg; four step children, Doneta Creech, Amber Creech, Melissa Pratt, Jadwyn Creech; 3 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 grandson, Derrick Buell. Visitation will be from 11-1:00 p.m. Monday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.    Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will be held in the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg, Indiana.
