Matthew D. Grimes

Matthew D. Grimes, 37, Greensburg, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 at his residence in Greensburg.  Born, March 17, 1977 in Greensburg, he was the son of Floyd D. “Duke” and Nancy D. (Smith) Grimes.  Matt graduated from Greensburg High School in 1996.  He had previously worked at HOP Communications in Greensburg for 15 years.  He also loved fishing.  Matt is survived by his parents; Floyd “Duke” and Nancy Grimes, Greensburg, 1 sister; Vicky (Chris) Yoke, Indianapolis, grandmother; Barbara Wamsley, Greensburg, 1 nephew; Alexander Yoke, and 1 niece; Gabriella Yoke; Step-Grandmother, Pat Smith.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Ezra and Mae Grimes, James Smith.  Visitation will be from 12-1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.  Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the funeral home.
