Fannie Marie Mccorkhill

Fannie Marie McCorkhill, 53, Milford, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Greensburg. Born December 27, 1960 in Manchester, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Leroy and Florence (Lunsford) Reed. Fannie had worked at the Cunningham Nursery in Waldron, then at Williams Industries in Shelbyville, then she worked as a QMA at the Heritage House in Greensburg and she was currently working at KB Specialty in Greensburg. She was married to Jack McCorkhill and he survives. She is also survived by her parents, Leroy and Florence Reed, Milford; one son, Jason (Susan) Nicholas, San Diego, CA; one step daughter, Shannon McCorkhill, Batesville; three brothers, Tommy (Julie) Reed, Flatrock, Hughie (Melissa) Reed, Greensburg, David (Theresa) Reed, Greensburg; one granddaughter, Allie K. Marie Nicholas and one grandson due in December; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Pleasant Reed and one step son, Neil McCorkhill. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Visitation will also be held from 10-11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Free Will Baptist Church in Milford with Funeral Services to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Douglas and Rev. Austin Ball officiating. Interment will be held in the Milford Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Greensburg / Decatur County Animal Shelter.
