Jerry Lee Mann, 75, of Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville. Jerry was born in Grant County, Indiana on March 24, 1939 to Jack Norman and Vera A. (Poindexter) Mann. Jerry worked for MiTech and Smith Implements before retiring. He was a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church in Decatur County, past member of the Knights of Columbus and Knights of St. John both in Greensburg, and a member of the CHRP Group at St. Mary’s in Greensburg. He was married to Karol Ann (Swango) Gramman on September 6, 1996 and she survives. Jerry is also survived by 2 sons; Daniel (LeAnne) Mann, Greensburg, Eric (Jini) Mann, New Palestine, 2 step-sons; David (Dale) Gramman, Greensburg, Doug (Jeri) Gramman, Greensburg, 2 daughters; Brenda (Malcolm) Meer, Greensburg, Laura (Allen) Johnston, Greensburg, 1 step-daughter; Sandra (Mark) Fixmer, Greensburg, 1 brother; Calvin (Donna) Mann, Greensburg, 3 sisters; Mary Lou Karmon, Greensburg, Camilla Sue Oathout, Greensburg, Lillian June (Bud) Ryle, Greensburg, 15 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and brother; Joseph Mann. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg with a rosary being prayed at 1:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2014 at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Decatur County with Rev. Bill Ehalt officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Jerry’s family and friends are purchasing a memorial granite bench to be placed in Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus in honor of Jerry. Donations can be made to help with the cost of the memorial bench, or they can be made to the Greensburg Animal Shelter.
