Jack F. Wilson, 82, Milford, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at his residence. Born, May 28, 1932 in Milford, Indiana, he was the son of James Madison and Dora (Fields) Wilson. Jack graduated in 1950 from Burney High School. He played basketball while in high school and later coached basketball at the high school. He was a 57 year member of the Milford and Westport Masonic Lodge, a former Clay Township Trustee, and a charter member of the "Power of the Past". He attended the Burney Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving as an MP in the Army. He retired from Cummins Engine in Columbus after 34 years and he also had farmed for many years. He was married to Betty Jean Gray on November 1, 1952 and she survives. He is also survived by one daughter, Jacklyn (Richard) Henderson, Flat Rock; one brother, Hershel Wilson, Greensburg; two grandchildren, David (Kim) Henderson, St. Paul, Jennifer (Matthew) Nicholson, Shelbyville; two great grandchildren, Reagan Nicholson and Emma Henderson. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Elmer, Robert, Hubert, and Russell Wilson; five sisters, Myrtle Baltus, Bertha Wilhoit, Edna Shoemaker, Jewell Glennan, Lucille Stewart; one grandson, Matthew Henderson. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Masonic Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the funeral home with Rev. Rand Hooton officiating. Interment with full military services will be held in the Milford Cemetery in Milford, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Road to Recovery.
