Kathryn L. Miller, 80, Greensburg, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2009 at her residence in Greensburg.
Born, June 24, 1929 in Greensburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Robert S. White and Mary Jane (Montgomery) Washburn.
She worked at Vines Poultry, the Colonial Bread Store and the Ranch Supermarket. She retired to finish raising her children.
She was a member of the Quarter Horses Association, the Tree City Saddle Club and the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Kathryn celebrated life through her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and her husband’s passion for horses.
She was married to Charles W. Miller on July 3, 1947 and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2009.
She is survived by one son, Chuck (Cheryl) Miller, Greensburg; three daughters, Brenda (William) Lawrence, Greensburg, Vickie (Larry) Bullard, Greensburg, Kathy (Warren) Milburn, Greensburg; two brothers, Robert Jr. White, Greensburg, Ron Washburn, Greensburg; one sister, Wilma Ruth Marlow, Greensburg; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and was patiently waiting the arrival of her 11th great grandchild due this month.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her step father, Norvell W. Washburn; one brother, Charles W. White; two sisters, Dorothy L. White, Linda (White) Jones.
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Greensburg with Rev. Dennis Wenholz officiating.
Interment will be held in the Hebron Cemetery in Adams.
