Dennis D. Dickey

Dennis D. Dickey, 70, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026.

Dennis was born on October 26, 1955, in Connersville, Indiana, the son of Willard and Shirley (Dunn) Dickey. He was a hardworking and dependable man who could always be counted on to lend a hand. Dennis was a handyman by trade and enjoyed working with his hands. He especially enjoyed mowing and spending time outdoors.

Dennis is survived by his daughter, Crystal (Michael) Powell of Connersville; son, Johnny (Gretchen Miller) Dickey of Greensburg; grandchildren, Michael (Ava) Powell Jr., Emily (Luke) Brunell, Michaela Powell, and Hannah Dickey; great-granddaughter, Nova Powell; and brother, Leonard Dickey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Shirley Dickey; and siblings, Beverly Hickmott, Geneva Louise Hancock, Kelly Jo Dickey, Eddie Dickey, Loyd Dickey, Carols Dickey, Robert Dickey, and David Dickey.

In accordance with Dennis’s wishes, there will be no public services.
