Dylan Vancena

It is with solemn hearts that we announce the passing of Dylan Vancena; who left us on July 9, 2025, at the age of 24. Born on July 20, 2000; Dylan's journey through life, though brief, was marked by notable accomplishments and a quiet strength that resonated with all who knew him.

Standout moments in Dylan's life included earning the rank of Eagle Scout, becoming a leading member of the Masonic Youth Group, and being a Brother Mason who dedicated his life to service. These accomplishments were a source of pride for Dylan, and a testament to his perseverance and spirit.

Dylan's life was one of purpose and inspiration, and though his years were few, the impact he leaves on those around him is profound. He is remembered for his quiet resolve, and the subtle, yet significant ways he made his mark on the world.

Dylan was preceded in death by his mother, Kelly.

Dylan's legacy is carried on by those he leaves behind. He is survived by his father, Bill (Cathy) Vancena; grandmother, Gayle (the late William); grandparents, Bob and Rose; sister, Katrina Vancena; and numerous family and friends.

In remembering Dylan, we reflect on a life that, while brief, was genuinely meaningful. He moved through this life with a sense of integrity. His memory will undoubtedly continue to inspire and influence those who knew him, and his achievements will stand as a lasting tribute to his character and life's work.
