Iva Mae Scott

Iva Mae Scott, 96, of Greensburg, passed away on March 2, 2026, at Arbor Grove Village. She was born on September 11, 1929, in Adams, the daughter of Herbert Russell Green and Katie Della Rose (Redd) Green.

Iva graduated from Sandusky High School and later married the love of her life, Edgar Scott, in 1989. The two shared many wonderful years together until his passing in 2004.

A woman with a bright spirit and a sharp mind, Iva enjoyed attending Bible study at the YMCA, working through crossword puzzles, and challenging anyone willing to take her on in a game of Scrabble. Above all, her absolute favorite pastime was spending time at the casino—something she always looked forward to with great enthusiasm.

Family and friends may gather on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, with a funeral service immediately following. Burial will take place at Hebron Cemetery.
