Nancy Jean Binkley, 73, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.
She was born on May 17, 1952, in Greensburg, the daughter of Calvin Bowling and Phyllis (Kincade) Bowling. Nancy was a 1970 graduate of Greensburg High School. She worked for many years as a cook for Hauser Schools, where she formed lasting friendships and touched many lives.
On November 28, 1992, Nancy married the love of her life, Steve Binkley, and he survives. Nancy was thoughtful, full of joy, and always ready for a new project around the house. She enjoyed trips to the casino and spending time with her family. Nancy was truly a ray of sunshine—she could light up any room with her smile and made everyone around her feel welcome. In her later years, she most cherished staying at home and watching her grandchildren grow.
She is survived by her husband, Steve; children, Shelly (Donald) Toan and Shawn Tatman; grandchildren, Corbin (Kortni) Hohnstreiter, Austin Tatman, and Gloria Tatman; great-grandchildren, Everett Hohnstreiter, Valerie Collins, and Raiden Tatman; and siblings, David Bowling, Linda Longford, and Dinah Hoge.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Gloria Holton.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg, with a memorial service to begin at 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation in Nancy’s honor.
