Nancy Ann Hoegeman

Nancy Ann Hoegeman, 73, of Rushville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Nancy was born on January 29, 1953, in Greensburg, Indiana, the daughter of Lewis G. “Fuzzy” and Anna M. (Hancock) Clark. She graduated from Greensburg High School in 1971.

Following high school, Nancy began her working career in the laundry services department at Decatur County Memorial Hospital, where she worked for seven years. She later went to work at Hill-Rom in the janitorial department, where she faithfully worked for 34 years before retiring in 2010.

On March 29, 1975, Nancy married Edward B. “Buck” Hoegeman. They shared 34 years of marriage together until his passing on December 27, 2009.

Nancy cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed being surrounded by those she loved and treasured the many memories made together throughout the years.

She is survived by her son, Jason Hoegeman; grandchildren, Michaela Hoegeman and Robert Hoegeman; and several nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Edward B. “Buck” Hoegeman; her parents, Lewis G. “Fuzzy” and Anna M. (Hancock) Clark; sons, Edward R. Hoegeman and Anthony R. “Tony” Hoegeman; siblings, James Clark, Rita Clark, Dennis Clark, and Barbara Jones; nephew, Greg Phillips; and great-nephew, Clark “Clarkie” Chance.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial of Nancy’s cremated remains will take place at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Batesville.
