Robert “Bob” William Fehrman, 77, of Greensburg, passed away on February 23, 2026, at The Willows of Greensburg with his family by his side. He was born on July 3, 1948, in Batesville, Indiana, the son of William and Adele (Struewing) Fehrman.
Bob graduated from Batesville High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. On September 30, 1972, he married the love of his life, Mareta Joann Powell, and together they built a life rooted in family, devotion, and hard work.
For almost 35 years, Bob worked for American Manufacturing, a career he truly enjoyed. He retired at the age of 62. Bob loved staying active—he enjoyed playing golf, traveling with family, and had a lifelong passion for racing, especially three-wheelers, four-wheelers, and midget racing.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and American Legion Post 129, both of which were meaningful parts of his life.
Bob is survived by his wife, Mareta Fehrman; his son, Eric (Angie) Fehrman; grandson, Blake Fehrman; granddaughter, Alexa (Ben) Fehrman; and step-grandchildren: Bailey (Ryan) Bischoff, Riley (Christian) Eckstein, and Kaiden Eckstein. He is also survived by his great-grandson, Holden Land; sisters, Charlotte Heppner and Becky (Rod) Goskill; brother, Dan (Pat) Fehrman; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Kellerman; sister, Peggy Weber; sister-in-law, Vickie Kellerman; father-in-law, Cressy Powell; mother-in-law, Mary Ester Powell; and brothers-in-law, Tom Powell and Jim Powell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home. Funeral services and military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.
