Ruby L. Hitch, 98, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the Heritage House Nursing Home in Greensburg. Born August 5, 1921 in Shelby County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Herbert R. and Katie R. (Redd) Green.  Ruby had worked at Hay Bags and Lehrman’s on the Greensburg square. She was married to Carl F. Hitch on July 2, 1947 and he preceded her in death on January 5, 2000. She is survived by one son, Larry Coy, Greensburg; one sister, Iva May Scott, Greensburg; three grandchildren, Brad, Tim, and Kimberly. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one son, Jerry Wayne Hitch; one grandson, Ronnie Hitch; two brothers, Leo Green and Charles Green; one sister, Alice Elliott. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9 to 11:00 a.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the funeral home with Rev. Glenn Seaman officiating. Interment will be held in the Hebron Cemetery in Adams.
