Stella "Jean" Redelman

Stella “Jean” Redelman, 89, of Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Jean was born on September 13, 1936, in Greensburg, Indiana, the daughter of Nathan Bowling and Mary Catherine (Osborn) Bowling. She was the youngest of nine children.

On May 22, 1954, Jean married Kenneth Redelman, who preceded her in death on March 14, 2018.

Jean enjoyed tending to flowers, listening to and watching birds, watching westerns, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Tina (Dave) Benz, Arleen (Greg) Schwering, and Jody Redelman; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Gary Wayne Redelman; a granddaughter, Elizabeth N. Schwering; and all of her siblings.

In accordance with Jean’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. A private family gathering was held with her children and grandchildren present.
